Year 10 visit Keble College, the University of Oxford

“The day’s activities helped me to realise the importance of studying hard at school.”

Eleven of our High Attaining students visited Keble College, the University of Oxford earlier this week to take part in a Year 10 Taster Day in collaboration with other Core Education Schools.

Our students listened to an informative presentation about the history of Oxford University and acquired knowledge regarding the application process. Furthermore, our students explored university life by participating in both a college and city tour. We also had time to explore the Pitt Rivers Museum, which displays many interesting and fascinating artefacts relating to human creativity and diversity. A highlight of the day was having lunch in the impressive surroundings of Keble College Hall. Many of our students were enthused and inspired by the trip and are now keen to make applications in the future! Well done to all students!

“What a great day – I am now committed to achieving academic excellence.”
