Year 8 Art workshop in the local community

I honestly did not think I could get a cat to look like a cat, the fur looks real. My mum says I have definitely improved!”

Students in Year 8 are working with Al Franklin, a local artist. They have progressed from small line drawings to shading in full and developing the skills to use the right techniques, with the right pencils. Students have taken in their own portfolios that they have been working on at home to seek Al’s professional eye on ways to develop. Keep an eye out for what else is to come from this course with Al.

Students are looking to display their Art work at Tower Hill Library at the end of the course.
